201st RED HORSE dedicates memorial pavers

A special feature of the RED HORSE?s new building is their memorial walk-way. Three different types of pavers are in the walkway; red pavers signify current members, gray signifies retired members and square pavers recognize deceased 201st members. The 201st RED HORSE Alumni Association sold the four by eight inch pavers to current and retired members of the 201st to be able to cover the costs of the decease members? pavers. Pictured from left to right, retired Master Sgt. Gordon Ebright; retired Col. Joseph Feather, second 201st commander; retired Col. H. Dewey Perkins, fourth 201st commander; and Lt. Col. Gregory Deal, current 201st commander, place the final memorial paver for retired Lt. Col. Clarence ?Scoop? Withers, the first 201st commander. The ceremony of placing Withers? paver served to recognize all of the deceased members of the 201st represented in this memorial walkway.

Gregory Deal, 201st Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers commander; Brig. Gen. John Murphy, Headquarters, Air National Guard; and Brig. Gen. Eric Weller, 193rd Special Operations Wing commander cut the ribbon to the new RED HORSE operations and training facility at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pa. The new $6.7 million, 22,500 square-foot building is home to the PA Air National Guard?s RED HORSE engineers and provides critical operations and logistics space to ensure the unit can accomplish its wartime mission.

211th climbs heights for OJT, community service

Master Sgt. Stephen Coulburn, Senior Airman Kenneth Clouser, Airman 1st Class Andrew Bailey and Airman 1st Class Christopher Hall, all cable and antenna installers for the 211th Engineering Installation Squadron, climbed the 160-foot tower at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pa., to install a new VHF antenna for the non-profit organization Lebanon Valley Society of Radio Amateurs. The installation of this antenna allowed the Airmen of the 211th to get valuable on the job training while also being able to provide for the local community at the same time.
