Lt. Col. Donald O’Shell assumed command Jan. 6 of the 193rd Special Operations Force Support Squadron here.

“I’m humbled and honored by this amazing opportunity, and I eagerly anticipate listening to, learning from and leading the Airmen of the 193rd Special Operations Force Support Squadron,” said O’Shell.

O’Shell’s peers look forward to having him in this role.

“He has the experience and maturity needed to command,” said Col. Susan Garrett, 193rd Special Operations Mission Support Group commander. “I look forward to working with him again, and I know he will succeed in this role.”

O’Shell previously served as the force support officer at the Pennsylvania Air National Guard Headquarters, Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania.
