End of an Era: 193rd SOW Bids Farewell to EC-130J, Welcomes MC-130J's

193rd Special Operations Wing crew members conduct final pre-flight checks on the EC-130J aircraft in preparation for the aircraft’s last mission with the wing Sept. 18, 2024. The EC-130J’s role in broadcasting and information operations via digital and analog radio and TV broadcasts has been replaced with the MC-130J’s focus on clandestine missions, such as air refueling and precision airdrops.
