Airman 1st Class Randy Miller, Aerospace Maintenance Apprentice, 193rd Special Operations Wing, Middletown, Pennsylvania, cleans wheel components of a C-130J before replacing the steel brakes to the new innovated carbon brake assembly, Oct. 24. The new carbon brake system will be implemented on all aircraft and will reduce change time, increase wheel life, and allow more landings per overhaul, assisting in an overall increase in mission effectiveness.
