Manning the communications center
Staff Sgt. Jody Meade, 193rd Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, mans the fire alarm communications system, rerouting information from unit to unit, during an annual bivouac training exercise Oct. 4 at the Fort Indiantown Gap Regional Training Site in Annville, Pennsylvania. The exercise helps power production and operations personnel, as well as emergency managers and firefighters learn how to master their skills and accomplish their mission under austere field conditions that may include chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and environmental threats.
