148th ASOS Airmen earn top prize in Exercise Noble Skywave

Airman 1st Class Patrick Kluyber, radio frequency transmission systems Airman, 148th Air Support Operations Squadron, dials a channel on the high frequency radio as he did during Exercise Noble Skywave 2014. The exercise was a competition format with points awarded for various criteria, such a completing the greatest number of radio contacts with other participants using various type of antennas, modes and power output. Kluyber teamed up with Tech. Sgt. Nathan Belanger, another radio frequency transmission systems Airman of the 148th, to capture first place in the exercise.
