Airman First Class Charles Asher, II from the 27th Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron adjusts the tie down chains on a EC130-J in preparation for the expected heavy winds and rain associated with Hurricane Irene. A1C Asher is assigned to the 193rd Special Operations Wing, Middletown Pa for training. Hurricane Irene is poised to deliver a punishing blow to the Mid-Atlantic States, with a destructive combination of storm surge, damaging winds, and flooding rain. The 193rd is based at Harrisburg International Airport, Middletown Pa and home to the EC130J Commando Solo aircraft.
