"It's an honor just to have been nominated, let alone selected," said Zimmerman. "I appreciate the outstanding support of my leadership in nominating me but I think it's really about the outstanding people I work with. It may be one name on the award, but intelligence is really a team effort and it's more about the collective efforts of the group."

First Lt. Joseph Hottenstein, an intelligence officer with the 193rd SOW, won in the Outstanding ARC ISR Company Grade Officer of the Year category.

Hottenstein is a "top trainer" for exercises, as cited in his award nomination. He helped mold all junior intelligence analysts with real-world scenarios, and increased evaluation scores by 10 percent.

He also provided "seamless wing support and perfectly executed his tasks."

Kaloz also developed and preformed 85 pre-mission briefs and evasion plans of action. He is also a Peerless Wing Inspection Team member, the award nomination cited.

Senior Airman Courtney Fisher, an operations intelligence analyst with the 193rd SOW, won in the Outstanding ARC ISR Airman of the Year category.

Fisher boosted battlespace awareness and armed aircrews with updated data. She also briefs crews and staff with strong analysis and confidence, as well as being applauded at commander's call for "best briefing."

"I work hard all year trying to accomplish different goals and achievements. It's really nice to be recognized," said Fisher. "Now I can keep pushing down the right track."
