MIDDLETOWN, Pa. -- Members of the 193rd Special Operations Wing, 111th Attack Wing and 171st Air Refueling Wing participated in Exercise Iron Keystone, August 4 - 6, 2023. An estimated 100 personnel incorporated both Air and Army assets to participate in the state’s first tri-wing exercise, utilizing ground forces, small unit tactics, indirect fire and other enablers in an effort to train air and ground forces together. The training goal was to improve mission readiness and increase capabilities should Airmen be required to serve in less than optimal environments against peer adversaries.
