MIDDLETOWN, Pa. -- During a change of command ceremony here Sept. 23, Col. Michael Watson, 193rd Special Operations Maintenance Group commander, presented the guidon to Maj. Jaime Ramirez, appointing him as the new 193rd Special Operations Maintenance Squadron commander.
“I am confident in Maj. Ramirez,” said Lt. Col. Amy Crossley, former 193rd SOMXS commander. “His experience is vast and he knows maintenance.”
Ramirez previously served as the special operations force personal recovery branch chief.
I am honored and humbled to step into this position. It’s been a dream of mine to lead a squadron, said Ramirez.
