New Ops squadron commander appointed

During a change of command ceremony Aug. 12 at the 193rd Special Operations Wing, Middletown, Pennsylvania, Lt. Col. Kris Post, 193rd Special Operations Group conversion officer, presented the guidon to Lt. Col. Dave Harris, appointing Harris as the new 193rd Special Operations Squadron commander.

“Thank you for the confidence and trust to take over the squadron,” said Harris. “I look forward to this opportunity.”

Harris’s peers look forward to his future accomplishments.

“This squadron is amazing,” said Post. “I know you’ll (Harris) continue that momentum moving forward.”

Harris previously served as the 193rd Special Operations Group director of operations.
