A new security forces squadron commander was appointed here April 8, 2018. Lt. Col. Barry Strube enlisted in the Air Force Reserve in 1998, serving in various security forces roles. Prior to taking command of the 193rd Special Operations Security Forces Squadron, he commanded the 166th Security Forces Squadron, Delaware Air National Guard, New Castle ANG Base.
